Host of The PandeMic!
Salt Lake City
Rachel Rothenberg is a profoundly unfunny person who is capable of writing a very good joke. She began stand-up in 2016 and has b been doing it competently since 2019. Though she is known far and wide for her great taste in fashion and terrible taste in joke topics, her fleshy form resides in Salt Lake City, UT.
Rachel figures she must be funny, because she manages to get stage time in Utah- the bastion of Clean Comedy- as a raunchy comedienne. She has opened for nationally-touring comedians at Wiseguys Comedy Club, including Rachel Feinstein, Greg Behrendt, Esther Povitsky, and Matteo Lane. She has reason to believe Rachel Feinstein gave her COVID-19.
Speaking of COVID-19, in the time before it, Rachel created, produced, and hosted a series of all-broad stand-up comedy shows at Wiseguys called “Dumbbroads.” There were four iterations of Dumbbroads, and a fifth one in the works prior to the pandemic. When the pandemic began, she created and began hosting “The PandeMic!”, a twice weekly online comedy open mic which operates to this day and draws participants from all over the world.
When she isn’t telling jokes, Rachel hoards vintage clothes and breeds spiny flower mantises. She has only seen a male get eaten once.
