Richard Newnham is an actor and stand up comedian from South Wales. He was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at a young age. He wanted to be a comedian ever since he was a kid in school with his first stand up experience being in front of his drama class. Richard has performed stand up comedy live across the UK. Since the pandemic he has performed stand up comedy online globally. He has performed stand up comedy virtually in four different continents. Richard is also an associate artist with Hijinx theatre and has performed with Hijinx projects both nationally and internationally. He co-wrote and co-starred in a sitcom called Flatmates in 2015. In 2014 he joined a sketch group called Boxfull. He is working on various different projects including a stop motion stand up show called Comic Models.
