Success is a result of consistent practice of winning skills and actions.

Hello my name is Wiliam Felton Russell also known as Bill Russell. I was an American Professional Basketball Player who played for the Boston Celtics from 1956 to 1969. My big day is when I retired from the NBA in 1969 inside the TD Garden.
I was born on February 12 1934, to Charles Russell and Katie Russell in West Monroe, Louisiana. Since Monroe was segregated at the time, I often dealt with racism in my daily life. At the age of 9 me and my family moved to Oakland
While in Oakland me and my family very poor but became a skillful basketball player. At 18 I went to college, at San Francisco, where I won two NCAA Championships in 1955 and I started college at USF in 1952
I was lightly recruited by colleges, but Hal DeJulio, a former player at the nearby University of San Francisco (USF), had seen me play and had an inkling as to his potential, so he recommended me to his old school. In college, the 6-foot 9-inch (2.06-metre) I blossomed, providing a defensive presence that helped lead USF to National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championships in 1955 and 1956. In addition, I was a high-level sprinter and high jumper on USF’s track-and-field team.
