Henry Blair (1807 - ?):

Henry Blair, born around 1807, was a pioneering inventor and farmer who achieved historical significance as one of the first African Americans to receive a United States patent.

Henry Blair's journey involved his innovative contributions to agriculture, particularly his inventions related to seed planters. In 1834, he received a patent for his invention of a corn planter, and in 1836, he obtained a second patent for a cotton planter. Blair's inventions revolutionized farming practices, showcasing the potential for African Americans in the field of invention.
